Be Legendary Lipstick by Smashbox

I have been dying for red lipstick. It's very classic, chic and gives ANYONE a timeless look. There are tons of misconceptions about red lipstick. Whatever it is, drop it. If you find the right shade for your skin tone, you will look good. I went to Sephora about a week ago for some red lipstick and unlike most cosmetics stores that try and sell you the first shade of red they see, the employees as Sephora help you find a shade that's flattering for you and put it on you. (Don't worry, they disinfect the cosmetics before they try it out on your skin.) The colorists at Sephora are good at what they do, fyi.

I ended up buying Infrared Matte, also known as True Red, by Smashbox. It was only $19 at Sephora which is a good price for a very good lipstick. The lipsticks have vitamin C and E. The difference between matte and creme or lacquered lipstick is that matte does not look glossy at all. I like matte lipstick because it doesn't rub off as easy, smudge or get on your teeth. I also think if you're getting glossy looking lipstick you might as well spring for lip gloss. Anyways, the color is phenomenal and it's long lasting. I love it. Sephora is now my go-to make up store.

Knitted Berets are a winter favorite

 Aside from knitted berets keeping my small ears from freezing off and my head warm, they're cute! I've seen knitted berets EVERYWHERE lately. Really, I can't blame you guys, I love them. They pretty much tie everything together. It looks perfect with a cute coat, scarf and gloves. It ties the winter bundled warmth look together perfectly.
